Once again a wonderful beeswax painting, Jane, in your uniquely transcendental style ... seems to me as if you had not only lend the wax from these hardworking little animals, but also their endurance and diligence .. Only thus I can explain that you have painted two additional exceptional works in a short time like this .. Just in case that you should have acquainted some more characteristics from these valuable little friends, ..I happily can hardly imagine having been stung by one of them ... :-) A. l/f
Jane Small replied:
Hello Almo. You can rest assured that the diligent little bees did not have to work overtime to provide me with enough wax to do two paintings in quick succession, as in fact, I did these pictures some years ago! Thank you very much for your wonderful comment and humor!

I am awe stricken my friend - amazing, incredible, phenomenal,; You know I can picture that beiiung you there standing insilence taking it all in...the phenomenal beauty of the gorgeous rolling hills ...I love the reddish hill in the foreground- it really grabs your attention and takes the eye to "you"...and the lovely cascading foliage down the left side makes a beautiful frame of this magical landscape - the geen hill reflects the green of the trees as they stand there so tall and proud - the glorious mountains/hills are just incredible and you really get a sense of freedom as the birds fly peacefully deeper and deeper into the landscape - and the light toward the top of the mountains, Oh my Jane, it is so incredible and beautiful as it embraces the entire scene....I stand there with you my friend, in AWE at the glorious gift we have been given of the incredible beauty, peace and the LIGHT.....I feel as if you are trying to decide whether to walk that long road into the future or stay there in the comfort of this beautiful setting....that is a pretty long road....big hugs and thank you my friend; you are so incredible!!! xoxoxo Joyce
